Parents,
Be sure to check your child's backpack. All of the returned papers and information sheets will be sent home on Friday. If any of you would like to volunteer in the classroom you are more than welcome to! All you have to do is click the "contact me" link at the top of the page and let me know when you would like to come. If you are not receiving emails from me then PLEASE contact me immediately. I think that I have everyones email address but some of the addresses I got from our school directory, which may be an old, unused email address.
Info about F.L.I.P. nights----> We have one every month. Each month we will focus on a specific topic that will show you how to help your student at home with literacy. These presentations are given by teachers of different grade levels but the topics that are chosen apply to all grade levels. The presentations start at 7pm and usually last about an hour. If you would like to learn how to help your child become a better reader or writer then join us! There's no need to sign up, just show up!

Lastly, we tend to run out of tissues and GermX fairly quickly. If you would like to donate either of these items to to the class at any point in the year that would be awesome! We also collect box tops. Our school receives ten cents for each box top collected. Box tops can be found on most food items. Please send in any box tops that you have collected. Thanks!
